What would you do if you lived in a small apartment in LA and got an unexpected knock on the door from 20 relatives needing a place to stay immediately? That's how the workers at LA's animal shelters must feel *every day* as more homeless kittens, puppies and elderly pets show up at their doors, crowding available boarding space...

One LA Neighborhood Council is doing something to make citizens aware of this problem. The Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council's (ASNC) first-ever "Neighborhood Pet Adoption Festival" is designed to promote a relatively unknown resource for potential pet-owners in Northeast Los Angeles -- LA's beautiful North Central Care Center, conveniently near the 5 and 110 freeways!
Don't miss what is guaranteed to be the BEST pet festival in Los Angeles, loaded with Fun and Games, Free Prizes, Adorable Pets for Adoption, Food, Rides, Balloon Art, Pet Supply Vendors and much much more! Bring your doggie and see if potential housemate(s) are compatible!

Climb up into our giant inflatable crocodile's mouth and slide down his throat as he GULPS you -- this fun ride is for children and adults alike!

The new state-of-the-art LA animal shelter is located at 3201 Lacy St, LA 90031 (2 blocks east of Figueroa off Ave 26) and is the ONLY shelter service Northeast LA communities. Don't go to a pet store when there is a resource in your own backyard.
